A Western Sydney Wanderers fan is now facing punishment for making a racist comment towards Brisbane Roar goalkeeper, Jamie Young at Saturday’s match at Glen Willow Stadium.

It is understood the fan yelled out a racist taunt to Young of whom is of a Sri Lankan background.
The individual was immediately identified, resulting in eviction from the grounds.
The WSW fan now faces possible punishment by Football Federation Australia, and is likely to be put through the FFA’s banning process.
The matter is being investigated.
