A play full of youthful enthusiasm with record breaking monetary returns. Jackie and the Baked Bean Stalk was a delightful play directed by Eleisha Corradini. The members of the cast displayed moments of impromptu excitement that encapsulated the feeling of pure fun for the cast. The audience felt they wanted to be on stage enjoying the moment, until Grimelda (Mary Boxsell) appeared in her terrifying role. With consistently good, sized audiences the Twin Town Players are to be praised and their young band of actors promise a bright future.

Kandos CWA Active!
Kandos CWA launched their new commercial kitchen at a Spring Soiree on Friday, November 9. It was the result of several years' fundraising as well as grants from local and NSW governments, the CWA and Kepco. The new facility is available for private functions, community groups and locals wanting the use of a commercial kitchen to support the running of micro businesses. Former CWA President Marie Trounson broke a baguette to open the kitchen. The event was a perfect opportunity for the CWA Ukulele Group to entertain the crowd, while CWA Art Group held an Art Exhibition and CWA member Cheree Edwards exhibited a selection of artisan cutlery. To raise further funds to fit out the kitchen, there was a raffle, a 100 Club and an auction of five aprons.
