The Mudgee Black & White Committee for Vision Australia is busily preparing one of Mudgee’s most picturesque but largely unknown gardens to be open to everyone for one day only on Sunday, December 2, from 10am.
This is a rare opportunity to stroll through the garden complete with olive grove, fishpond, hedged flower and vegetable gardens, with views to the distant hills over verdant grapevines to raise funds to assist Vision Australia’s local sight impaired and blind residents.
You can spot the alpacas, guinea fowl, chooks and three resident border collies who call Miramar home.
The location has been an iconic Mudgee winery since its first vintage in 1977, the proud winner of over 600 medals for their wines and trophies both local and international.
There will be lots of activity, live music from Ross Kurtz and the Stringybark Band, Merri and Val Ryan, Andrea Saubier and more.
