Sydney FC won't show mercy on an undermanned Brisbane still reeling from throwing away a three-goal lead in last weekend's A-League clash with Adelaide United.

The Roar were on course for just their second win of a dismal campaign against the Reds at Coopers Stadium before imploding.
Dane Ingham and Jamie Young were both sent off as the Roar finished the game with nine men and suffered the heartbreak of substitute Nikola Mileusnic's 97th minute header sealing a 4-3 win for Adelaide.
It means the Roar face third-placed Sydney at Suncorp Stadium on Friday without goalkeeper Young, youngster Ingham or central defender Daniel Bowles - who are all suspended.
While interim head coach Darren Davies attempts to scrape together a starting XI, Sydney FC coach Steve Corica was talking up his team's strength in depth for the clash including a likely A-League debut for Iranian striker Reza Ghoochannejhad.
"He'll be definitely in the lineup and maybe starting," Corica said of the new signing.
"Obviously we've got Alex Brosque back as well. (Michael) Zullo is back from suspension and (Anthony) Caceres coming back into the squad as well.
"Great to have such a strong squad and great depth. We have choices now so it's great."
The Roar have added new signings Ruon Tongyik and former Sky Blue Charles Lokoli-Ngoy to an extended squad for the clash while Brendan White will replace Young in goal.
Experienced duo Luke DeVere and Thomas Kristensen have also been recalled.
Sydney have lost just once in their past six trips to Brisbane but Corica said his team needed to make sure they give nothing away against their struggling opponents.
"They'll be desperate for points and desperate for a win," Corica said.
"We've got to make sure we dominate them and do a great job."
