Up until last year, the pair lived in Mudgee before relocating to the South Coast.
Although Honey returns to perform a one time special at Walter Wines, they also travelled the distance to celebrate the life of one of their friends, Kay Bushnell who recently passed away, and share their song dedicated to her.
"It's a very personal song, it's very beautiful and angel like, it's just a very beautiful piece of music," Richard Lawson said.
It's very inspiring and seems to sum up a lot about life itself.

"We're looking forward to coming back to Mudgee."

The performance will be three hours of a mix of contemporary, jazz and folk music, while also providing a 'real atmosphere'.
"We try and create a real atmosphere. We think about it more than the songs," Lawson said.
"We tend to go with the flow with what's happening.
We never play the same song the same way twice, it always changes based on the atmosphere.
The duo will perform at Walter Wines on March 30 from 1-4pm.
