Despite taking a 46-18 win against Binnaway in the first round of the Christie and Hood Castlereagh League competition on April 6, Terriers coach Mark Gorrie says there is some room for improvement to ensure a grand final is on the table.
"We played a lot of frustrated football, a lot of things didn't go our way," Gorrie said.
We did end up with a good victory in the end but we made it a little difficult for ourselves in certain places and there's some room for improvement.

"Just the way that we finished our sets off, giving a bad pass in a situation where they could have held the ball, kicking to the wrong area or not throwing a pass, just a little bit of execution that we didn't get quite right."
This week the blue and white outfit take on Trangie in a home game and hopes are high for a similar result.
"It's always good to play your first home game. We had a very good roll up from supporters last year and we're expecting a good result again, so everyone is keen to play at home," Gorrie said.
It [supporters] really gives a lift to the players enthusiasm levels. They see people making the effort to watch them play, it does make a difference when the crowd gets behind them to give a little motivation to perform well.
Not only did last Saturday mark round one, it also was the first time in 32 years three brothers played side by side for the Terriers.
In 1987, it was the Jackson brothers who took to the field for Gulgong, coached by Tony Gorrie, while this year it was Andrew, Brent and Zac Warwicker also coached by a Gorrie who brought back the rare sight.
It's very rare, especially for a town with only two thousand people.
"They were very proud to be lining up together."
- Gulgong Terriers 46 (James Morrison 2, Sam Gorrie 2, Brad James, Zac Warwicker, Blake Gorrie, Harry May tries, James 7 goals) defeated Binnaway Bombshells 18 (Cody Whitty, Cameron Nolan, Jayden Anastasis tries, Thomas Sloan 3 goals).
