There's not much more you could ask from a newly developed side than to come away from a match with a 54-0 victory, and that's exactly what the Gulgong Terriers league tag side did in their round two clash against Trangie.

Just the week before, the Gulgong girls went down by two points to Binnaway, 18-16, in the first game of the Christie and Hood Castlereagh League, and to come back and claim a victory of such calibre is just down right impressive.
When asked what the difference was between the two vastly different results, Gulgong Terriers league tag coach Kyle Alexander says there's two contributing factors that made all the difference.
"The girls played really good, they are finally starting to play together as a team," he said.
In the match against Binnaway we had a lot of players out with rep duties and they've come back and made a big difference.

On the day, defence was at an all time high which made it even more difficult for Trangie to get on the board.
"We played together as a team, we defended a lot better and just played a lot better in general," Alexander said.
Stand out players on the day were Mel Robinson who was voted players player, Tayla Riley who scored two tries, and Chloe Pennell who also put two tries on the board.
It's a pretty young side as well so the future is very exciting.
The Gulgong side will head to Cobar in two weeks time due to the Easter break.
"They're pretty keen for a break because we played two games last week, a trial against Mudgee and then the next day played against Trangie so we need a bit of a break," Alexander said.
"We start a bit slow in games so hopefully we can start the game good."
