The champion trainer has long been one of the Central District Racing Association's best but the $40,000, 1600 metre Gooree Park feature has eluded her her entire career.
She's prepared Wild Cavalier and Noel's Gift for Saturday's cup race, the latter typically a regular in the placings on his home course, the Mudgee Race Club.
"The mile certainly suits them both and they should benefit from being on their home track as well," Williams said ahead of Saturday's bumper meeting at Mudgee.
"I'm certainly hoping they do well. Of course, I'd love to win it especially being at home. I have so much respect for the Gooree Park Stud."

- Gayna Williams on Gooree Cup hopeful Noel's Gift and jockey Adrian Robinson.
Noel's Gift has been drawn barrier six for Saturday's run but in a smallish field of just seven starters shouldn't battle to find a rail's run at Mudgee.
His last run at home was in the CDRA country championship heat in March and the Williams stable star ran brilliantly to run second and qualify for the $500,000 final, where he ultimately finished 11th at Royal Randwick last month.
The six-year-old bounced back to form over 1400m at Bathurst on Anzac Day with a second-place finish in the Soldiers Saddle and will again have Adrian Robinson in the saddle for Saturday's return home.
"His last start at Bathurst, (Adrian) got a bit of a feel for him there," Williams said.
Wild Cavalier is coming off a sixth in the Parkes Cup and Williams expects the six-year-old bay to continue to build and relish the mile trip on Saturday.
Warwick Farm's Jarrod Austin has prepared the favourite with Hirokin arriving at Mudgee on the back of a win at Newcastle at the end of April.
Renowned Tamworth trainer Rodney Northam consistent gelding Cool And Neat is another of the visiting brigade likely to challenge Williams' home-town hopes.
The Gooree Cup meeting starts at 12.19pm on Saturday with the Winner's Circle Wine Club CG&E Maiden Handicap (1200m). The cup is scheduled to jump ay 3.34pm.
