Two training sessions will be held in Mudgee for four Western Region Judo representatives as part of state squad commitments ahead of competing in next month's National Championships.

The first of two sessions was held last Saturday where Mudgee's Bryce Hanson, Michael Harfield and Jim Sheedy provided training partners and coaching to the aspiring visitors.
Alex Lindsay from Wellington has been the national champion beforehand, and at 18 years of age, he quite a seasoned competitor.
Dubbo's Ben Collis and Anthony Hayes will compete in the kata event as well as contest their respective weight divisions.
However, Wellington's Tony Lindsay will compete in the veterans (masters) events on June 7, 8, 9 in the Gold Coast.
The next session for the State Representatives will be Saturday May 25 at the Mudgee Martial Arts Dojo.
