It was put to the test at this year's local show when the CWA ladies had to draw on all their resources to help cater for the big local gathering at the adjacent showground.
In the past the power supply had constantly failed at times of peak use due to the outdated power board and associated wiring.
Member for Paul Toole obtained a $3000 grant from the State Government's Community Building Partnership (CBP) fund and recently met with Rylstone CWA members Robin Johnston and Wendy Rodda recently to check on how the upgrades were benefitting members.
Robin said the power supply didn't miss a beat during the local show.
"It was a really good show for us and proved the investment in the power supply was a worthwhile initiative," she said. "It's important venues like hours are maintained and thanks to this grant that's been achieved."
Mrs Johnston said the Rylstone CWA Hall is used by other organisations such as the local Cake and Sugar Artists' group.
"There's also music lessons held here while the Pink Ladies and Auxiliary from the hospital use the facilities," she said.
Rylstone CWA meets on the first Friday of each month.
