After taking out last year's second grade division, the side have moved up a step to contest for the premier first grade title.
"Coming off the back of last year being the grand final winners and taking out the second grade, this year we've been moved up a grade so now we're in the premiers ladies first," senior ladies Wolves captain and goalkeeper, Sophie Plummer said.
"We've also gained a few more junior girls who are coming up through the ranks and gaining a few more seniors, while we have lost a few players, so we're developing a new squad this year."
With a mix of players ranging from 14 to 38, Plummer says the squad have been working on gelling together as a team while also focusing on passing techniques.
"We've been getting a lot of work through training on our passing so making sure and trusting that that's where our team mate is going to be when we pass," she said.
It's been our main development this year, but the girls have been learning and coming from second grade last year, we've just been looking at it positively.

"The girls have kept their positivity throughout even though we've had losses."
On the back of a 8-1 win over Bathurst Macquarie, the girls are heading into their match against Eglinton DFC this weekend feeling confident despite suffering a loss of 3-0 last time the teams met.
"Coming off the back of last week, the girls are feeling fairly confident knowing that they can put in a great effort," Plummer said.
For us it's not about always winning, it's just about trying to gel as a team to be able to stay as a team in the first grade for next year.
The Mudgee Gulgong Wolves FC Inc will take on Eglinton DFC at Glen Willow Stadium on June 8 at 5.30pm.
