In their final home game of the season the North West Falcons men saw off the Dubbo Bulls 5-nil, the visiting side coming to Gulgong looking to secure a spot in the finals.

And they came out up for the fight, but Greg Reid crossed in inch perfect for Matt Cremona to open the scoring with an acrobatic lunge on the volley. It was soon 2-nil through a fine individual goal from Cremona.
Joe Peters secured the win on 63 minutes after a fine team passage of play. Cremona then bagged his hat-trick before Reid rounded off the scoring at 5-nil with 12 minutes to go.
The Falcons are due to play East Dubbo United in the major semi-final in Dubbo on Saturday, August 18.
The ladies side put on a spirited display in their penultimate game of the season against Newtown, before stepping into the second division. They'll wrap up their year at home against RSL 78s this weekend, kicking off at 11am.
