The enthusiasts who own these little cars are passionate about their vehicles. They love talking about their cars, Mini history, restoration and everything.
Just admire a Mini and the owner will happily talk 'Minis'. Over 400 people with 200 Minis filled Louee street on Sunday morning. The oily smell mixed with raw petrol excited many people.
The sight was spectacular, every Mini was an individual in design, age, colour and style. For a short time, the street was crowded, as was the Sunday Market. Kerry Griffiths from Portland sold lots of her Mini drawings, letting the buyers add their own to the number plates and their own cars colour scheme.

The Minis came from all over Australia, except the Northern Territory. The New South Wales Mini Car was started over 50 years ago when a bunch of motoring enthusiasts pooled their resources in celebration of the small car that would redefine motoring forever. Since, its humble beginnings the Mini Car Club of NSW has grown to be one of the strongest and most diverse motoring clubs in NSW and now boasts a membership of around 500.
Evan Redman the Organiser said, "The first Mini was built in England 60 years ago. Next year will be our tenth anniversary and it will be bigger and better in Rylstone"
His Face Book blog gives a description of this year's Rylstone Rally. "In 2019 we revert to our stunning southern loop, with a few, new, tweaks. The main event will leave from a brand, new starting point at the Mingara Recreation Club and then tackle the Old Pacific Highway, winding down the coast the uber twisty Galston Gorge.
We'll pop out of the gorge, set sights for the historic hill climb of Springwood and then meander through the Blue Mountains before stopping for a track walk at Catalina Park, a now deserted race track of yesteryear.
The final part of the day will see us through some stunning country as we divert through Bell and Lithgow before rolling into Rylstone for the warmth of the many open fireplaces of the Globe Hotel.
