The offer is available until September 1, only at Mudgee Tourism Information Centre, where residents can also purchase tasting packages at the discounted rate.
The Roads and Maritime Services are funding the return buses through their Plan B campaign following the success of last year's initiative.
They will run from Kandos/Rylstone (via Lue) and Gulgong, picking up from bus stops in; Gulgong (Herbert Street); Kandos (Illford Road); Rylstone (Louee Street); and Lue (Swanson Street).
A limited number of seats are available and bookings are essential and can be made in-person at Mudgee Tourism Information Centre now or online at www.flavoursofmudgee.com.au from Monday, September 2. A $2 booking fee will be incurred to secure a spot.
Flavours of Mudgee is held from 4pm to 8pm, Saturday, September 28. The Locals Only Early Bird tasting package, includes five tasting tokens and souvenir glass, for $10.
From Monday tasting packages are available for pre-purchase online at www.flavoursofmudgee.com.au, and in-person at Mudgee Tourism Information Centre for $12.50 and at sale stalls on Church and Market Streets at the event if not sold out prior.
