Edging their way to the trophy, the top ten scores resulted in Dubbo vet's, scoring 333 points to defeat the Mudgee Veterans 329 points.
However, three Mudgee players finished in the top four places.
It was the cagey leftie, Bruce Bell (40 points),who used his experience to score the major prize on a course that proved extremely difficult for many players.
Coming in second was Barry Hadaway (38c/b) who had a mighty one under par on the back nine holes to edge out visitor Ray Mould (38).
Taking the fourth prize was Mike McGarrigle (37) ahead of visitor John Dixon (36).
Ball winners were Kel Wilton, Stephen Chippendale, Barry Harvey, Carl Young, David Evans, David Tink, John Farkas, Keith Prendergast, Peter Egan and Ken Hinton.
The NTP sharp-shooters saw visitor Nick Brennan win the Soldiers' Motel Voucher with a tee shot that finished 240cm from the hole.
The NTP Second Shot on seventh hole was won by visitor Phillip Halpin who was 55cm away.
The NTP on the 11th hole was won by Jeff Williamson who finished 385cm from the target to win the Mudgee Pro Shop Voucher.
The NTP on the 17th hole was also won by Jeff Williamson who claimed the Mitre 10 Voucher with a shot that finished a tantalising 4cm from the hole.
