The Charity Shield, to be in it's 37th installment next year, will bring the South Sydney Rabbitohs and St George Illawarra Dragons back to the field on Saturday, February 29.

Mid-Western Regional Council Mayor Des Kennedy was joined by Rabbitohs CEO Blake Solly and St George Illawarra Dragons CEO Brian Johnston on October 30 to make the announcement.
Cr Kennedy says, "It's always a pleasure to welcome back the Rabbitohs and Dragons who engage with our community each game with visits to schools, nursing homes and sporting clubs."
With the match considered the official pre-season match for the NRL, it's the perfect opportunity for people in the region to witness some all-star talent.
The 2020 Charity Shield will be held on February 29 at Glen Willow Stadium- tickets go on sale today.
