An 'Extreme' Fire Danger Rating has been issued for tomorrow (Tuesday, November 12) for the Cudgegong Rural Fire Service District, which covers the Mid-Western Regional Council area, on top of the statewide total fire ban has already been declared for all areas of NSW.

Dangerous fire conditions are forecast, with the local predicted to hit temperatures in the mid-30s to be accompanied by strong winds.

If a fire starts and takes hold it would be unpredictable and move fast and embers may come from many directions.
The only rating above Extreme is Catastrophic, which has been declared for the Great Hunter and Greater Sydney areas.
There is already extensive fire activity across the north coast and northern NSW areas and today a state of emergency was declared.
