In what the company says is a first, the latest round of funding projects was identified by the school's P&C committees. In NSW, 11 projects were chosen, totalling almost $200,000.
The local schools selected collectively received just over $40,000.
Among the three schools in the region selected were Cudgegong Valley Public School which received $16,000 for an 'all-weather sports court', Gulgong Public School received $10,700 for 'interactive technology resources' and Mudgee Public School received $14,000 for a hearing system in infant support classrooms.
Community relations manager for the company, Craig Strudwick said the company decided to reach out to P&C committees thanks to their priceless community insight.
"We've supported many partnerships with the NSW Department of Education, including our long-standing partnership with Star Struck and our Galuwa scholarship program for future Aboriginal leaders," Mr Strudwick said.
"P&C associations have provided valuable support with a variety of projects that also aim to enhance education and children's welfare, so it seemed a logical progression to approach these communities with an offer to fund projects on their respective wish lists."
