The full culinary diversity of Mudgee and its surrounds will be on display with 14 of the region's most picturesque venues hosting visitors with one or two small dishes that have been carefully prepared to match selected beverages.
"The Mudgee Region Food & Drink Trail' is constantly evolving," said Mudgee Wine Association President, Jess Chrcek said.
"The variety and quality of fresh produce, wines and other culinary offerings continues to grow within the Mudgee Region.
After a tough time with drought and fires, we've been lucky to have some beautiful, soaking rain and the landscape is once again looking lush and green.

"After a tough time with drought and fires, we've been lucky to have some beautiful, soaking rain and the landscape is once again looking lush and green. We want to put our thriving region on show and the 'Food and Drink Trail' is the perfect excuse for people to experience and indulge in all things Mudgee."
As a self-guided trail, the 'Food & Drink Trail' offers visitors a range of options where they can visit a few venues each day, reducing the need to rush through the journey, while there is also a non-alcoholic option.
"The menus are looking enticing, with Slow Cooked Lamb Sliders, Wagyu Rolls, Gourmet Mushrooms of Mudgee Medley Tartlets, Sesame Crusted Fried Halloumi, Local Produce Tasting Plates and Dark Chocolate & Pistachio Nut Ice-Cream to name a few. These are matched with a range of wines, beers ciders and non-alcoholic drinks such as shrubs, cordials, coffee and kombucha," Chreck said.
