Home Rule waste transfer station will be closed from 6am Tuesday, March 24, reopening on Thursday, April 2.
During the temporary closure residents are asked to please dispose of their general waste and recycling at Gulgong waste transfer station and Mudgee waste facility.
There is no charge for domestic waste and recycling disposal at these facilities.
Residents are reminded domestic amounts of asbestos (up to 100kg) can be disposed of safely and free of change at Mudgee waste facility.
Council apologises for any inconvenience, however the closure is necessary to remove the dumped asbestos for the health and safety of the community.
