A man was fined a total of $550 in Mudgee Local Court on Wednesday, for graffitiing two locations in Gulgong with a phrase he has tattooed on the side of his head.

Caspian Dyson-Davaney of Sturt Road, Hawthorndene, was charged with two counts of 'Intentionally mark premises etc without consent - aggravated'.
At about 12.50pm on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, the 20-year-old was seen buying a can of red spray-paint on a local store's CCTV.
During that evening he used it to write 'DEAD CATS' on play equipment in Apex Park and on the side gate of a Herbert Street business.
The next morning Council workers and the business owners noticed the graffiti and reported the matters to police.
When officers spoke with Dyson-Davaney - who admitted to his actions - they noticed that 'DEAD CATS' was tattooed on the side of his head where his hair was shaved to display it.
The defendant was not before court when the matter was finalised, due to being in South Australia for work, but submitted a written plea of guilty to the charges.
Magistrate David Day read his correspondence onto the record, that "I was drunk and am aware it's no excuse".
