Not too long ago Russell began studying for a Certificate 3 in Fitness which he said has been an aspiration of his for quite some time.
Ever since the age of four, Moriarty has been a die-hard rugby league fan, and still to this day, he continues to be one of the biggest South Sydney Rabbitohs supporters there is.
"To work in the fitness industry is something I have shown interest in for some time, I would like to make it a career of mine," he said.
I have always shown a passion for sport, especially rugby league since I was four years old.

Moriarty currently studies 10 hours a week, but the hours increase as the course progresses.
There are 16 units that must be completed within a 12 to 18 month period, with topics that include instruct fitness programs and plan and conduct programs.
Lifeskills Plus have been supporting Russell with setting goals, schedules, mini breaks and rewards.
When asked; What is it that you love so much about health and fitness?, Moriarty said it's the element of being able to help people reach their aspirations.
"My favourite thing is helping people to achieve their fitness and health goals which can be especially important during this tough time," he said.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge of the course and the rewards after I have completed it."
Russell is hoping to give the Mudgee Dragons some tips wherever possible but at this stage, he admits he's got no idea what job he might want.
"I'm not sure to be honest," Moriarty said.
I just hope to gain employment and work in the fitness industry in some capacity.
