This involved changing the $15.30 per tonne charge for aircraft under one tonne, to any aircraft over 2000kg. With aircraft less than that to be charged $6 per tonne.
And to introduce a minimum charge of $6 for any of those landing fees.
The $256 per annum landing fee for local residents remains the same, however it's now applied to any aircraft under 2000kg rather than ultralight.
The existing fee for commercial flying schools was changed to incorporate 'under 2000kg' and to $2,500. And a new 'annual landing fee' of $1,100 was introduced for all aircraft under 2000kg for business use, which is currently on exhibition.

Cr Paul Cavalier, who disclosed that he is a pilot, said that proposed fees are bench marked against Orange Airport. And that the local facility could be more attractive to small aircraft owners.
"I'm bringing this to Council because I'm aware of the situation that Mudgee Airport is in. Over the last 12 months especially, I've flown to a lot of regional airports around NSW, in comparison Mudgee is absolutely dead," he said.
"These other regional airports in other areas are a hive of activity and people fly to them all of the time. And what it comes down to is Mudgee is an expensive airport to fly to.
"If you fly to Bankstown, as an example, it's actually cheaper to land than at Mudgee, I got a charge to fly into Tamworth which was under $20.
"It costs quite a bit of money to fly into Mudgee Airport and the result of that is that pilots are discouraged from coming here and bringing their families.
"It's not true to just say that 'all pilots are flushed with cash' because it certainly isn't the case. And for us to discourage people from coming to our Region, because we charge so much money to land at our airport, is probably not a good thing."
