Hairy Ballers (formerly Hairy Globetrotters) having signed up a couple of new players and are sure to give the top tier a run for their money, while Mudgee Pump Company has had to rebuild their team, and compared to last season's line up is an unknown quantity.
Security has been tight around the two new teams, Ross's Big Ballers and Leven's Smash Repairs, although unofficially, the word is, they are out to have a good time on and off the court, making it difficult to assess their potential.
In the seasons first week of matches, the opening round will feature the clash between last year's grand finalists, Mayso's Pro Shop and Predators at the PCYC starting at 7.30pm.
The preceding game at 6.30pm has Hairy Ballers against Stride Health.
