I was absolutely overwhelmed by kindness of people. Firstly, my greatest thanks to locals who organised the help, don't know names, they should recognise themselves. There is no reception in the area and one of them ran and raised an alarm. Within an hour about a dozen people from various organisations came to my rescue - Mudgee police, ambulance, Police or Firefighters rescue, RES (or all of them), volunteers from Rylstone and Gulgong. They carried me on the stretcher through difficult terrain in hot conditions which was enormous task. Ambulance officers Jacqui and Peter took me to Mudgee hospital keeping me as comfortable as possible.
The ED doctor did his best to straighten my leg before transfer to Dubbo base hospital (I think a doctor with a South-African accent). I was transported to Dubbo by Janelle and Ross in a best possible way.
I'm enormously thankful to all these people involved and sincerely apologise if I didn't mentioned some names or organisations correctly due to my conditions. The Mudgee Police officer Sergio rang my family next today to check on me. Perhaps, Sergio can provide better info on everybody involved.
Once again my huge thanks to people of Mudgee country area. I will never forget their generosity, huge efforts and incredible skills. I'm on a road of recovery back home in Bondi.
