COVID-19 restrictions may have made for an uncertain start to the season, but the competition finished on a high with a fantastic afternoon of touch footy for the twilight finals.
The nail-biting Division One finals drew a great crowd, with The Property Shop and Ramp Financial Solutions putting on a great show in the Mixed decider.
The Property Shop led early, but Ramp found their feet halfway through the match, putting themselves right back into the game.
The Property Shop held on to take the win 6-5, with Justin Gossage and Sally Harris from the Property Shop named Players of the Final.
The Ladies Division One final had everyone on the edge of their seats.
Cudgegong Plumbing started strongly, but after a slow start, Stride Health switched on halfway through the match and levelled up the scores.
With the scores locked at 4-4 at full-time, a 4-on-4, two-minute drop-off ensued.
In the dying seconds of the drop-off period a pass from Zali Yeo sent Grace Quinn into the corner for Stride to take the match 5-4.
Quinn received the Sam Bateman Perpetual Award for Player of the Final.
In Men's Division One, The Ori were looking to go one-better than last year's runners-up title.
It was never going to be an easy battle, with their opponents, 2019/20 premiers Col Matthews Motors featuring plenty of talent, including Australian touch players Justin Gossage and Roy Prassad.
A determined effort from The Ori, under the leadership of Mudgee representative players Jeremy Doherty, Lachlan Hill, Jared Robinson and the Durrant brothers saw them take the win 6-5.
The Sam Bateman Player of the Final was awarded to Doherty.
The Mixed Division Two final was also a close encounter, with the young Complete Steel and Rural Team just edging out Tyrepower, 4-3.
Zac Halliday from Complete Steel and Tyrepower's Jess Cubis were Players of the Final.
In the other Mixed finals, in Division 3 Loose Nutz Mixed upset Strait Up Cranes with a 6-2 victory, while Misfits were too good for Hallidays Plumbing in Division 4, winning 8-4.
Players of the Final were Cooper Furney and Molly Hensley (Loose Nutz) and Lachlan Mastrone and Alexis Douglas (Misfits).
In Men's Division 2 One Mob were hoping to avenge last year's grand final loss, but Woolpack Hotel denied them with a 3-1 win.
In Ladies Division 2 Jade Env rounded out an undefeated season with a 7-1 win over Kiddie Academy and in Mens Division 3, Dyno also held onto their unbeaten record winning 7-3 over Tradies.
Sam Bateman Perpetual Awards for Player of the Final went to Simon Flynn (Woolpack), Sarah Marshall (Jade Env) and Freddie May (Dyno).
Mudgee Touch Association also presented it's annual club awards on the night.
The Jim Yeo Perpetual Award for Referee of the Year was jointly awarded to 13-year-olds Flynn and Connor Mclean.
Simone Rawlinson was recognised as the Peter Spinner Clubperson of the Year for her dedication to the association, particularly for her work as canteen coordinator and representative teams manager.
