Rural crime investigators from Mudgee are making inquiries into theft of stock from a property near Pyramul, which is said to have occurred in the last two months.

Police believe the theft of 18 sheep is believed to have happened at a property about 60 kilometres south of Mudgee in recent weeks, and are now appealing for any available information regarding the stolen animals.

They described the sheep as 18 medium-frame superfine merino ewes with a castle earmark in the bottom right ear, along with Property Identification Code tags that are black, blue, white and orange in colour.
Police are urging anyone who can assist in relation to this incident or with information regarding the stolen livestock's location to contact rural crime investigators at Mudgee Police Station on 02 6372 8530, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
