The Newcastle native is not only an ambassador for EISS Super, but a believer in bringing professional league rounds out to regional areas.
"For me, the Newcastle Knights coming when I was 12 was a dream," Kimmorley said.
"Regional areas don't get a great deal of NRL, they watch it on TV but each kid should be entitled to go watch their heroes play football.
"If you give country kids the opportunity to come and watch a game of football, you'll give them more dreams and it becomes a lot closer to reality if they can see it, watch it and taste it.
"I'd love to see more opportunities for country kids, and Saturday is a great opportunity for them. One kid might guy 'you know what, I want to chase that dream' and because they get to see it in the flesh, it means they chase it harder."
Mudgee's round six fixture is the first of five games to run as part of the EISS Super Regional Series with the remaining four to be played at Bathurst, Wagga Wagga, Tamworth and Coffs Harbour throughout the season.
The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles will take on the Gold Coast Titans at 3pm on April 17 at Glen Willow Stadium.
