In a local derby played at Gulgong's Billy Dunn Oval, the Swans scored a hard-fought 24-12 win over the hosts.
The four-tries-to-two win sets up a blockbuster game against the Cobar Roosters in Dunedoo this Saturday.
The Roosters have also won two-from-two to start the season and that, combined with the pre-season knockout win, has many tipping them as the team to beat this year.
A huge crowd is expected at Dunedoo for the round four battle.

Elsewhere in the weekend's third round, the Baradine Magpies secured their first competition point when they battled out an exciting 10-all draw with the Coonamble Bears.
The result at Baradine provided a degree of positivity in both clubs for the season ahead, something that they will both need heading in to their games this weekend as the Magpies are at home to the Gilgandra Panthers while the Bears on the road again, this time to Coonabarabran.
In what was their first outing for the 2021 season, the Panthers brought the Trangie Magpies back to earth when they turned on a free flowing attacking display and ran in 13 tries on the way to a resounding 66-10 victory.
As mentioned above, the match of the round this Saturday will undoubtedly be the clash at Dunedoo between the Swans and the Cobar Roosters.
With sole outright leadership on the table potentially on offer, an entertaining battle is expected as both sides have shown they can attack from anywhere on the field.
The games at Dunedoo will commence at 12pm when the Cobar Roosters and the Binnaway Bombshells meet in a Youth League fixture.
In the league tag competition, Baradine, Dunedoo, and Gilgandra have all started the season in unbeaten fashion.
Gilgandra played out the match of the third round when downing Trangie in a 24-22 thriller.
