A dirty old chair sits in a garden, its legs are battered timber and it has ripped red upholstery falling off it.

It's something most people would see as rubbish to throw out, but not Nancy Niven.
"I pulled it all apart, redid all the timber and reupholstered the chair," Ms Niven said.
"You need to be able to see potential in something, that it's got good bones and give it a second chance."
Look at things a little differently, and most importantly "don't give up" are the guiding principles that Nancy Niven and her husband Brett follow, and it's resulted in some beautiful creations at their business Vintage Vibes.
"I really appreciate how well-made old items are, and I love the stories you find behind individual pieces, it just brings me joy."

There is a wall of old suitcases that have been retrofitted into Bluetooth speakers, it's perhaps the most impressive part of the store, as they are all made by Ms Niven, right down to the wiring.
"I'm always collecting old cases and speakers, it's such a good way to recycle," she said.
They have recently relocated to a larger space on Sydney Road, which has enough room to house bigger furniture pieces, as well as Mr Niven's ceramics.
The couple have opened up their space to other Mudgee local business owners who want to exhibit similarly vintage or retro products.
"It's just to be able to give other people the opportunity to express themselves, because it's really hard and daunting without the space," Mr Niven said.
"So they can have an ambition and just go for it here."
The artistic flair extends from the couple to their daughter, Safara, who has started her own business, RECUT, which recycles old silverware cutlery into jewellery. She has turned old ornate pieces of cutlery into rings, necklaces and earrings.
Lamps, mirrors, and typewriters have been laid out across the store, each item is carefully considered before it hits the shop floor.
Ms Niven has travelled "all over the place" to find these vintage items, including Sydney, Bathurst, Orange, Newcastle and the Blue Mountains.
"I love meeting other people who appreciate old wares as well, as I go hunting for stuff, I meet so many lovely people," she said.
