Ray Fisher (37) showed a "clean pair of heels" with a consistent round which was a pleasing return to form. He finished the round with a bit of a struggle on the dreaded 17th hole but finished off well on the last hole.
Ray won the MGC voucher as well as the Petries' Mitre 10 voucher.
Taking second place and the two placegetter's vouchers was Jeff Williamson (34) who had a roller-coaster of a round. He started with a series of one pointers but due to two 'chip ins" the round turned around only to then falter towards the end.
Nearest the Pin winners were Ron Tribe (135cm) for the second shot on the 4th hole and Barry Hadaway (229cm) and Ralph Box (378cm) who claimed the graded NTPs on the 11th hole.
The MGC ball winners were Ray, Jeff, Scott, Bob, Mike, Brian and John.
It was also a welcome back to Mudgee for Brian Insull who has returned after a sojourn on the coast.
