Club president Greg Reid said the men's team have enjoyed an undefeated season and are eyeing off a clash with the third-placed Dubbo Bulls FC this weekend.
Meanwhile, the women's roster for the Falcons has been able to reform after missing the 2020 season and despite some early challenges with player numbers are on the cusp of advancing themselves to finals play.
"They're in with a chance of the finals, a few more wins and they could sneak in," Mr Reid said about the women's team that struggled for numbers early.
He said the club were keen to restore the women's roster this year and registered after pulling together a 14-strong line-up, but just two days before the season start, two players were de-registered for being too young.
"They were keen to take the field with their Mums and play as a bit of a family team, but we couldn't get any special treatment and we have to respect the rules are there for a reason," he said.
Despite those challenges, the ladies are sitting in fifth just a few key points shy of the top four and Mr Reid believes they can make the grade in their last two rounds.
"It's really inspiring for them to be going as well as they are - they're only one win out of the finals and they're playing the fourth-placed team in a couple of weeks. It could come down to the wire and we're backing them 100 per cent."

For the men's roster, the minor premiership has already been cemented and the finals await, but Mr Reid said these last few rounds could shuffle the top four and provide some insight into who the team might face come the opening semi.
"This weekend will be interesting to see what we can do - our last outing against the Bulls we had a 3-2 win, which was our closest game of the year."
The Falcons will play this weekend and next in Dubbo before a bye round leading into the finals.
Mr Reid said the squad were fit and ready and would have likely preferred the game time given a few forfeits this season have limited their time on the park.
"The bye gives us a break to get ready for the finals, but if we win that first round we'll have a bye straight after, so it's a bit of a catch 22," he said.

Mr Reid said there had been a whole-team performance to get to a strong finish, but after falling short in the last two grand finals, he was "not counting the chickens too soon".
However, the Falcons goalie did heap praise on a couple of players who have stood out this season including Liam MacLennan, who has proved a versatile utility player in a number of roles across the season.
He also spoke highly of striker combination Timmy Lincoln and Matt Cremona.
"They're on the score sheets every week, they're rock solid up front. We've had a couple of games without Timmy and we've struggled, but when he's there he brings a lot of energy and hypes up the team."
