Investigations into a Mudgee house fire continue after a family of five escaped their place of residence before it was engulfed in flames.

At approximately 5.20pm on Wednesday, November 10, Police responded to reports of a house fire in Denison Street, Mudgee.
Upon arrival, emergency services identified two adults and three children, all of whom evacuated the building before it engulfed in flames.
Two people were treated by Ambulance for minor smoke inhalation and minor burns, while the local fire brigade extinguished the blaze.
Crime scene investigators secured the building which is currently still under investigation.
The cause of the blaze is yet to be determined.
