It's pretty easy too, residents can put forward what Council is calling 'Community Plan Proposals' for for new infrastructure, projects, activities and improvements throughout the region to be considered in the 2022/23 Operational Plan.
Council says the Operational Plan sets out the projects and activities which Council is committed to over the coming financial year, as well as measures and time frames to achieve this.
Council's General Manager, Brad Cam said this is the community's chance to let Council know what projects and activities they'd like to see.
"If you'd like to see investments in public facilities, improvements to neighbourhood footpaths or more public toilets - now is your chance to have your say," Mr Cam said.
The plan includes Council's Revenue Policy (Rating Model), 2022/23 proposed Fees and Charges, Capital Works program, Annual Budget and Delivery Program.
Well, you might say 'what's the point?'. Council has listed a number of recent proposals from the community that have been completed which include include new shade sails at Gulgong Pool and improvements to the Lawson Park East footpath. A number of projects are currently underway including road guttering in Kandos and toilets at Putta Bucca Wetlands.
You can submit your proposals right now up until January 10 at Council's website midwestern.nsw.gov.au.
