A packed crowd is guaranteed to be back trackside while a stellar list of nominations for the rich eight-race meeting was released on Monday.
There were 298 nominations in total for the meeting. Of those, 27 were for the feature event, the $75,000 Robert Oatley Wines Mudgee Cup (1600m) while there was a loaded 34 chances put forward for the $50,000 Mudgee Cup Day Showcase Sprint (1200m).
While there is a strong mix of city and country chances put forward for the cup, Rylstone's Blue Collar Boy, trained by Greg Hook, and Rule The World from Mack Griffith's (Mudgee) stables are the only locals headed for the Cup.

"The track is looking amazing after recent rain and the club is also undergoing a rebrand which we will launch on the day via our new website and logo, which is exciting for us all.
"And after the dust has settled from Mudgee Cup Day, we will also look forward to hosting the Newhaven Park Country Championships Qualifier on Sunday February 27."
