The day was topped by “sweet swinging” Barry Hadaway, 37 points, who maintained his strong form as he took out the event scoring a three-way countback.
Hadaway had to pull through with the goods to separate him from the rest, and he managed to do so.
Following first place Hadaway came Jeff Williamson, 37 points, in second place, ahead of Trish Jones, 37 points, in third with fourth place handed to Ken Charter, 36 points.
The ball winners went to Ann Burgess, Terry Bedford, Bob Colley, Bruce Bell, David Halpin, Bob Campbell, James Anderson, Neil Howland, Kel Wilton and Birgit Smith.
Sharp-shooters on the day were Bruce Bell who clipped his second shot on the 7th hole to 50cm, and Ross Smith whose tee shot on the 11th hole came 235cm from the target.
The tournament was held on Tuesday, October, 23 at the Mudgee Golf Course.
