Back again for its 26th anniversary, the annual Coolah Veterans Touch Football Carnival is ready and awaiting kick off.

The event that brings an approximated one thousand visitors to Coolah, will host 34 teams from all over in the round robin and graded competition, with two new additions to the carnival making their debut - Mudgee and Merriwa.
Teams will come from Mudgee, Dubbo, Gulgong, Dunedoo, Premer, Penrith, Quirindi, Portland, Lithgow, Aberdeen/Muswellbrook, Gunnedah, Wollongong, Newcastle, Central Coast, Bombala, Coonamble, Taree, Scone, Cessnock and of course, Coolah.
The divisions include men’s and mixed side’s, with all players required to be over the age of 30.

All seven a side teams are guaranteed three games of round robin on the Saturday, with a minimum of two grade clashes on the Sunday for play-offs.
As well as footy, everyone is encouraged to make a fun-filled weekend out of it, and get amongst the entertainment offered at both hotels and the sporting club where a dress up theme - Halloween - is on the table.
The Veterans Touch Football Carnival will be held on Saturday November, 3 to 4, at Bowen Oval, Coolah.
