The under 15s played in division 4 against Orange and Gilgandra, and played both sides twice only to head into the grand final against Orange undefeated.
They started strong and secured a 10 point lead by the third quarter, to finish on top with a score of 62-14.
"It was the last quarter that we really ran away with it. Our shooters were on point yesterday and our mid courters were too fast for Orange, getting the ball down the court swiftly from our defense, as well as some amazing intercepts from our defensive end," coach Sue Forgione said.
The under 17s competed in division 3 against Orange, Bathurst, Gilgandra, Lithgow and Cowra.
On Sunday March 31, Mudgee played against Bathurst in the semi-final to compete for a ticket to the grand final.
Mudgee came out fighting and managed to defeat Bathurst by one goal to face Orange in the grand final.
It was a nail biter of a game, but the girls fought hard and deserve a spot in the grand final.

Orange were too good for the 17s team this time, with Mudgee finishing as runners up in division 3.
