As 200 players took to the Mudgee Golf Course for the 2019 Moolarben Coal Celebrity Golf Classic, there was no predicting the eight stint of the event would bring the overall total of funds raised to an impressive $260,000.

Those benefiting were Lifeskills Plus who received a cheque for $32,500, Pioneer House who also received $32,500, and Mudgee Hospital who received $5,000.
Event founder, Peter Mayson says the funds raised would not have been possible if it weren't for Moolarben Coal matching $40,000 on the night.
A special mention must be made to those guys because that donation at the end was very unexpected and the beneficiaries are now able to double their budget for projects.
