In the lead up to the match, many claims were made about how much "quality rugby" would be on display, and it is safe to say neither team disappointed.
From the moment the students ran onto the field until the blow of the full-time whistle, the cheer from the crowd indicated just how anticipated the match really was.
The first quarter welcomed two tries for Eastwood, placed down by Tayler Adams and winger, Kiti Ratu.

30 minutes in and Sydney respond with two quick tries from James Kane and Patrick O'Doherty, with successful conversions off the boot of Kane.
It wasn't too long until Eastwood's Michael Icely scored a try of his own, with a penalty kick also successful from Jackson Bird that brought the half-time score to 20-14.
The ball went back and forth for 24 minutes after the players returned to the field until Eastwood ran a series of passes that resulted in another try from Ratu, converted by Adams.
With one minute on the clock before the full-time whistle sounded, Uni's Hugh Summerhayes pushed through the Woodies defence line to score the final try of the match, converted by Kane.
Another attempt at the try line was made by the students but a ball fumble resulted in no additional points sealing Eastwood with a 27-21 win over Sydney.
Man of the match, Eastwood's five-eighth Tayler Adams says pulling off the 27 point win over the reigning premiers was "a huge effort" on all parts.
"We had a real hot start there on the front foot. We only knew the second half was just beginning. We stayed tough and really showed we wanted that towards the end," he said.
