The usual suspects have put their best runners forward with six Mudgee native trainers in the running across seven races.
The first race of the day, Kelly's Irish Pub Maiden Plate (1400 metres), will see Mark Milton-trainer Polished Penny and Gayna Williams' Giovanina in the running.
Williams' Intermerged and Cameron Crockett's Santa Margherita will gallop in the Woolpack Hotel Maiden Handicap (1200 metres).
Crockett's five-year-old Christo will be the only local runner in the third race of the day, Oriental Hotel Class 3 Handicap (1400 metres).
Race four, Club Mudgee Benchmark 58 Handicap (1600 metres), will see David J Smith's The Scotsman and Milton's Thunderzone in the running together in the heat.
The Federal Hotel Benchmark 58 Handicap (1200 metres) has Milton's Escebee and Rawson Crossing, Williams' Miss Hugo A Gogo and Key Factor, and Crockett's Are You Dreaming galloping.
In the running for a share of $30,000 in prizemoney is Brett Thompson's Sugar Dance and Attalea, Williams' I Am Awesome and Dapperized, Crockett's Artistic Beauty and Cheryl Crockett's Bravissimo who will all race in the 2019 XXXX Gold Mudgee Mug (1400 metres).
Cameron Crockett's Barbass and Mr Hussill will run alongside Williams' Lawn Meet and Thompson's Morotai in the Paragon Hotel Class 2 Handicap (1200 metres).
The first race of the day will jump at 1.35pm at the Mudgee Racecourse.
