To the Editor, Mudgee Guardian.
Our Mayor Des Kennedy is wrong when he says that people objecting to the Bylong Coal Mine Project are not local.
I know of many who live in this region who oppose this development. Locals love the beauty of the Bylong Valley.
Locals want its prime agricultural land maintained.
Locals value the economic benefits of farming.
We do not want to see all of the above destroyed...
Locals care about Water for agriculture and the environment. We do not want to see all of the above destroyed for yet another coal mine that further contributes to Climate Change.
