After 44 overs (6/154) Dubbo posted 8/204, with the last six overs going for 50 runs resulting in Midwest taking 10/117.
Brian O'Reilly returned the best figures for Midwest with 2/52 with all six bowlers taking a wicket, with special mention to Gaurav Sharma bowling 10 overs 1/19.
Will Lindsay top scored with 65 for Midwest with the next top score belonging to Andrew Best with 12.
Meanwhile, Matt Skinner (46) and Jacob Hill (34) top scored for Dubbo.
Midwest will look to strengthen their batting when they travel to Cowra to play in the next round on October 27.
