Acting General Manger, Simon Jones urged residents to drive to the conditions particularly on unsealed roads.
"After such a long period of dry weather, we welcome the green paddocks, but with the rain comes additional challenges on our roads," he said.

"Not only can our unsealed roads become slippery, but gravel might wear away and there is increased possibility of potholes forming."
Mr Jones said recently graded or re-sheeted gravel roads can become especially slick and slippery when wet.
"Road conditions can change dramatically from day-to-day so drivers need to adjust their speed accordingly and keep safe," he said.
Concerned motorists are encouraged to report rain damaged roads to Council.
