The Mudgee Pennants crew were too good to beat on Sunday with the top three grades claiming their respective Central West District Golf Association's pennants series titles.
Following their semi-finals stint on March 14, the top side were already declared winners due to a different format played, but for division two and three, Sunday at Cowra proved to be a pivotal round.
"They [division two] were not in a great spot when the heavens opened up, they were a bit behind in their matches but the boys went back out and won," division one player, Mark Hale said.
"They were locked at 2-2 with three holes to play and then big Rowan Standish stood up and won two off his three holes to seal victory for the boys."
The rain also proved to be a painful factor to endure for division three but talent saw victory earned.
"The division three boys were in the same spot as division two when the heavens opened up. It was two matches all and then Kenny Bartlett holed a massive putt on the 18th to give division three a 3-2 victory," Hale said.
As for division four, who were too far behind their Dubbo competitors to catch up, went down 4-1.
"To win three pennants in one season is bloody unbelievable," Mark said.
"It was something special for all involved, a massive effort."
