The temporary roundabout will be in place for approximately three weeks in preparation for construction of a permanent roundabout.
Motorists are advised all traffic rules still apply.
The roundabout is intended to improve traffic movements and pedestrian safety around the new Mudgee Hospital and Mudgee Medical Centre. Council also recently installed a pedestrian refuge on Church Street outside the medical centre to improve pedestrian safety.
Council originally opened the project up to public comment in December 2020.
