After 11 years, an estimated 60,000 homemade scones and more than 300,000 coffees sold the owners of the much loved café in the Mudgee Medical Centre have sold up shop and started a new chapter.

Husband and wife entrepreneurs Doc and Sheryl Campbell started the café after noticing a need for it.
Ms Campbell was a receptionist in the Medical Centre for 21 years before opening the café where she loved putting her passion for cooking to work.
"We're immensely proud of the business and set out to make good coffee and food for an elderly demographic who attend the centre, as well as the medical staff and doctors," Ms Campbell said.
"We wanted to do old fashioned, homemade food as our point of difference which I think everyone liked."
By far the most popular item on the menu were Ms Campbell's homemade scones, served with homemade jam and fresh cream.
"And the jam goes on before the cream, that's important!," she said.
Mr Campbell previously worked as a bricklayer but became the lead barista at the shop when a training course unleashed a love for coffee making. He is also a keen triathlete and has set up a purpose-built bike repair business in the home garage now the café has been sold.
As for Ms Campbell, she'll be focusing on her yoga teaching after practicing it for the past 20 years.
"I've recently completed my teacher training so I'm looking forward to being able to prioritise that," she said.
For the past 11 years, Ms Campbell spent her Sunday nights in her kitchen preparing for the week ahead, but now the café is sold she admits she's not sure what to do with herself.
"I haven't got my head around the fact I don't have to get up and be at work at 7.30 in the morning, and I'm now going for walks at the time I would usually be starting work which is very strange," she said.
And after 11 years of working together every day, the Campbells are also looking forward to having time to themselves.
"I think sometimes we've needed our space so it will be good to have that again, although it is bittersweet," Ms Campbell said.
The new owner assured the Campbells she would continue the legacy of homemade food and good coffee.
"I was picky when choosing who to sell to because I wanted to make sure it was going into the hands of someone who loved it as much as I did, and I'm confident it has," Ms Campbell said.
"We'd love to thank all the wonderful customers who have made our time so special. We've made so many life long friends from running it and we will miss it."
