Dubbo will host its annual cup day non-TAB meeting, and in the opening event Moonface will be chasing a first win in career start number three.
The nickname 'Moonface' has been mentioned plenty in recent days as it was the moniker fondly given to Australian television icon Bert Newton, who passed away aged 83 on Saturday.
The Moonface which will appear at Dubbo is a five-year-old gelding trained at Gulgong by Brett Thompson.

Moonface will be first-up from a 10-week spell on Tuesday, having failed to place in the first two starts of his career.
Andrew Banks will have the ride from gate one in a field of eight.
Moonface offers Thompson the chance to kick the meeting off with a win after he missed out on a win in the first race at Saturday's bumper Derby Day meeting despite saddling up the favourite.
Riders Inthe Stand had to settle for third and a number of other Thompson-trained hopes missed out before Larynx won the last event for the Gulgong trainer.
The field for the first race on Saturday also includes Clint Lundholm-trained pair Zariz Raider and Carpe Diem. Lundholm is coming off a Derby Day double.
