Held on December 7, the night of nights for Mudgee's business community welcomed over 140 guests.
For K + Co Hair Lounge, winning the 'Personal and Professional Services' category is a "reflection of the hard work and dedication" put in by all members of staff.
"It's excellent, I'm excited and overjoyed," Ms Curry said.
"It's great to recognise all different businesses in our community. Mudgee has got such a strong business profile so it's really nice to be able to have awards for people's achievements."
For the first time, a volunteer category was contested, and after conducting 1,000 trips for patients and elderly persons, Mudgee Community Transport were awarded the honours ahead of Mudgee Playgroup who came in as 'runners up'.
"We are just elated. We are very appreciative of the community for voting for us," Mudgee Community Transport coordinator, Alison Whittaker said.
"Volunteers don't usually get the recognition of all of the long hours and hard work they do, and for them to be recognised with this award is wonderful because they give so much to the community.
"We've got to remember that it's unpaid work, and sometimes they do 10 hours a day. Our drivers are the backbone of our business."
"It's great to see our volunteers honoured who do so much good for our community," Business Mudgee president, Ali Broinowski said.
Whether the event, that was catered by 53 Food Co in a "first class" manner and MC'd by Mudgee personality, Ken Sutcliffe, will go ahead next year remains to be seen with discussions underway about the potential return of the Mudgee Clock Awards.
"The Clock Awards are the original business awards which were happening annually, but due to COVID, they basically have had a little bit of a respite," Mrs Broinowski said.
"We are in discussions about whether we bring the Clock Awards back or whether it's more appropriate to have a more casual celebration of businesses. We'll make a decision in the new year.
"Irrespective of that, we would hope to see the Magnificent Mudgee Awards happening every other year should the Clock Awards still continue."
