The Mudgee High student joined the program "to feel a sense of leadership and to be a part of something that I believe brings out the best side of people that there is".
And said coach Bruce Roberts has been "terrific", with "his knowledge from all of the different fields his worked in is truly inspiring".
His CSP was a movie day at Pioneer House.
"As a young person I see advertisements for people my age and adults, but nothing really to do for the senior residents of Mudgee, which is quite sad because they have such amazing stories to tell and wisdom to share. Yet they have no one to tell it to," he said.
"My goals were to bring a smile and happy memories to not just the residents but also the staff at Pioneer House. And I'm hoping many more young people will want to do stuff like this for the older generation, just to show how much we appreciate them.
"Thank you to Club Mudgee for sponsoring me to do Max Potential, to Pioneer House for allowing me to do the movie day and meeting the residents, the residents of Pioneer for attending and my coach Bruce for always being the back up I need when I hit a road block or just to bounce ideas off."
- The young adults will share the challenges and change experienced in their six-month personal leadership journey with Club Mudgee Max Potential, Friday, August 2, at the program showcase. Come and see inspiring Year 10 students and their displays at Club Mudgee, from 5-7pm, (formal presentation from 6pm).
